Met zes campussen (Moorselbaan Aalst, Merestraat Aalst, Asse, Geraardsbergen, Ninove en Wetteren), meer dan 1 miljoen consultaties per jaar , 450 artsen en 5.000 medewerkers staan we garant voor warme, veilige en innovatieve zorg van A tot Z. Van de eerste levensdag tot het laatste moment: wij zijn er voor onze patiënten.

Op dit moment zijn wij op zoek naar een Medical Management Assistent voor de consultatie Orthopedie – campus Geraardsbergen.

Wat houdt de functie in?

Jouw uitdaging

Als Medical Management Assistent speel je een onmisbare rol in het reilen en zeilen van de consultatie Orthopedie. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt voor patiënten en artsen en zorgt dat alles administratief en organisatorisch op wieltjes loopt. Concreet omvat jouw takenpakket:

Onthaal en consultatie

  • Patiënten warm onthalen en hun gegevens verwerken in het KWS-systeem.
  • Raadplegingen afrekenen en afspraken inplannen bij artsen, andere diensten of het UZ indien nodig.
  • Onderzoeken (echo, CT, botscan, EMG, enz.) inplannen en patiënten begeleiden bij het aanvragen van attesten (kiné, thuiszorg, mutualiteit, enz.).
  • Verzekeringsdocumenten voorbereiden en contact onderhouden met bandagisten.

Hospitalisatie en operatieplanning

  • Operaties boeken en preoperatieve afspraken maken (cardio, anesthesie, enz.).
  • Bestellingen voor OK-materiaal plaatsen en contact houden met de opnameplanning en het OK.
  • Patiënten informeren over hun opname en zorgen voor een goede opvolging van ontslagdocumenten.
  • Prothesekaartjes maken, revalidatieaanvragen indienen en operatiemapjes (THP/TKP) voorbereiden.

Algemene administratie

  • Consultatieverslagen uittypen, dossiers scanklaar maken en telefonie verzorgen.
  • Consultaanvragen en facturatie opvolgen, bestellingen doen en administratieve taken van de dokters ondersteunen.
  • Vlot schakelen tussen diverse interne en externe contacten en bijdragen aan een goed georganiseerde werkplek.

Wie ben jij?

  • Jij bent een administratieve duizendpoot met een hart voor zorg! Dankzij jouw diploma medisch secretariaat of office-management, misschien zelfs met een specialisatie in healthcare management, sta jij stevig in je schoenen.
  • Je hebt zin om mee aan het begin te staan van een nieuw verhaal binnen ons fusieziekenhuis, veranderingen schrikken jou dus niet af.
  • Je beschikt over verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en werkt graag in een team.
  • Je communiceert vriendelijk en professioneel, zowel aan de balie als telefonisch.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en hebt een goede basiskennis Frans – meertalig zijn is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent vlot met IT-toepassingen en leert snel nieuwe programma’s aan.
  • Je bent empathisch, flexibel en professioneel.
  • Je bent een echte mens-mens en een teamplayer. Collega’s kunnen op jou rekenen.
