Als digitaal rechercheur ben je een onmisbare schakel in het bestrijden van complexe (inter)nationale cybercrime en het veiliger maken van de samenleving. Je komt te werken op één van de operationele teams binnen THTC. Dit is een brede functie waar je zowel je digitaal inhoudelijke kwaliteiten als je gave om binnen een complex onderzoek het overzicht te behouden inzet. Met jouw brede IT-kennis lever je een belangrijke bijdrage in vaak complexe opsporingsonderzoeken. Naast het veiligstellen van bewijsmateriaal en het opsporen van verdachten aan de hand van de door jou gevonden digitale sporen ondersteun en coach je collega's die zich digitaal met andere zaken bezighouden. Ook speel jij een belangrijke rol in het monitoren van datastromen en het implementeren van datagedreven opsporing. Je verzamelt en combineert gegevens uit diverse digitale bronnen, maakt deze leesbaar en deelt en bespreekt deze informatie met je collega-rechercheurs. Verder doe je voorstellen tot verbetering van de digitale opsporingsmethoden en -technieken. Je weet deze zodanig te formuleren dat deze ook begrijpelijk zijn voor mensen die minder technisch onderlegd zijn. In een gedigitaliseerde wereld is het van belang om als digitaal specialist constant op zoek te blijven naar nieuwe werkwijzen, methoden en technieken en deze direct in je werk toe te passen. Het is daarnaast belangrijk dat jij: - de juiste vragen weet te stellen voor de opsporing, bepaalt welke data je nodig hebt, de data exploreert en zelfstandig inzichtelijk maakt; - jouw bevindingen uit de data op begrijpelijke wijze aan anderen overbrengt, gesteund door bijvoorbeeld visualisaties ...
