Voor een langdurige opdracht in Antwerpen zoeken wij een Medior Middleware Architect. De rol zit tussen architectuur, documentatie en beheer. We zoeken een hands-on middleware architect, met nadruk op structuur, volledigheid, tools, automatisering en rapportering. Je werkt mee aan het in kaart brengen van het IT landschap en zorgt dat de juiste informatie op de juiste plaats staat voor IT beslissingen.

Middleware Architect

Omschrijving van de functie

Als Medior Middleware Architect ben je verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de documentatie van middleware interfaces en het onderhoud van verschillende architectuur- en configuratietools. Je speelt een sleutelrol binnen het Enterprise Architecture team en zorgt voor een up-to-date en overzichtelijk IT-landschap. Je werkt samen met technische en functionele stakeholders en draagt bij aan de kwaliteit, consistentie en volledigheid van architectuurdocumentatie en IT-configuraties.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

1. Overzicht van middleware interfaces • Beheren en documenteren van alle middleware interfaces tussen IT-systemen. • Monitoren van integratiepunten en zorgen voor een correcte afstemming tussen verschillende systemen. • Periodieke updates voorzien en de volledigheid van de interface-registraties bewaken.

2. Onderhoud van de CMDB (Configuration Management Database) • Bijhouden van correcte en actuele informatie over de IT-infrastructuur en applicatiecomponenten. • Uitvoeren van regelmatige controles op consistentie. • Verwerken van nieuwe configuratie-items binnen afgesproken termijnen.

3. Beheer van ArchiMate-modellen • Onderhouden en actualiseren van architectuurmodellen volgens het ArchiMate-framework. • Vergelijken van modellen met de informatie in de CMDB en andere databronnen. • Gebruik van versiebeheer (bijv. Git) en automatisatie waar mogelijk (bijv. CI/CD).

4. Updates binnen het Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) platform • Bijwerken van informatie over de levenscyclus van IT-oplossingen (nieuwe systemen, huidige systemen, systemen in afbouw). • Zorgen voor afstemming tussen EAM, CMDB en architectuurmodellen. • Evalueren en optimaliseren van tools en dashboards, bijvoorbeeld via Power BI of SharePoint.

5. Algemene samenwerking en rapportering • Samenwerken met interne IT-teams, projectmanagers en architecten. • Rapporteren van voortgang en kwaliteit aan verantwoordelijken. • Meedenken over de verbetering van processen, methodologieën en werkwijzen binnen IT-architectuurbeheer.

Vaardigheden en competenties

• Sterke kennis van middleware en integraties binnen complexe IT-omgevingen. • Ervaring met CMDB-beheer en architectuurmodellen (bij voorkeur ArchiMate). • Kennis van EAM-tools en frameworks. • Nauwkeurigheid en oog voor documentatie en proceskwaliteit. • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en teamspeler.
