Jij vormt de belangrijke schakel tussen engineering en uitvoering en zorgt ervoor dat monteurs op de bouwplaats precies weten wat er moet gebeuren. Je werkt aan uiteenlopende projecten binnen de utiliteitsbouw, waarbij je vanaf de engineeringsfase betrokken bent bij de technische voorbereiding. Je beoordeelt ontwerpen en tekeningen, denkt mee over technische oplossingen en vertaalt deze naar een praktische en uitvoerbare voorbereiding. Een belangrijk onderdeel van jouw functie is het aansturen en controleren van tekenwerk. Je controleert of ontwerpen technisch kloppen, signaleert eventuele knelpunten en stemt oplossingen af met engineers en andere betrokken disciplines. Daarnaast selecteer je de juiste elektrotechnische componenten en materialen voor het project. Je stelt inkooplijsten op, bestelt materialen en bewaakt de levertijden. Je houdt daarbij voortdurend rekening met de projectplanning, zodat de benodigde materialen op het juiste moment beschikbaar zijn op de bouwplaats. Ook werk je mee aan het opstellen en bewaken van de installatieplanning. Je stemt werkzaamheden af met collega's, leveranciers en andere betrokken partijen en zorgt ervoor dat afspraken duidelijk zijn.
