Medisch Manager Expertisecentrum Euthanasie , Den Haag Vakgebied Zorgmanagement Functie Zorgmanager Branche Overige Aanstelling Tijdelijk met uitzicht op vast Plaatsingsdatum 6 oktober 2026 Niveau WO Ervaring Senior Dienstverband Niet nader bepaald Medisch Manager 31-36 uur per week (waarvan 27 uur als medisch manager en 4-9 uur als ambulant arts) WAT GA JE DOEN? Als Medisch Manager heb jij dagelijks impact op de uitstekende euthanasiezorg van Expertisecentrum Euthanasie. Altijd binnen de kaders van de wet, altijd zorgvuldig en zorgzaam. Samen met je collega Medisch Managers ben je verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van de euthanasiezorg die wij leveren en het bereiken van maximale zorgvuldigheid in het kader van de Wtl (Wet toetsing levensbeëindiging op verzoek en hulp bij zelfdoding). Jouw belangrijkste taak is het beoordelen van euthanasieverzoeken die door onze ambulante teams (een arts en een verpleegkundige) zijn onderzocht. Dit doen we bij Expertisecentrum Euthanasie bovenwettelijk en daarom zeer zorgvuldig. Jij voorziet deze casussen van een onafhankelijke medische en juridische beoordeling om vervolgens te beslissen of een euthanasie kan worden uitgevoerd, moet worden afgewezen of nader onderzoek nodig heeft. Dit besluit wordt genomen in een Multidisciplinair Overleg (MDO) dat, afhankelijk van de casus, wordt voorgezeten door één of twee Medisch Managers. De MDO's zijn digitaal en vinden regelmatig aan het einde van de dag plaats. Met jouw kennis van de Wtl draag je bij aan de zorgvuldigheid die onze zorg vereist. Jij blijft constant op de hoogte van de laatste medische en juridische ontwikkelingen en deelt deze kennis actief met je collega's, zowel binnen als buiten Expertisecentrum Euthanasie. Dit doe je door intercollegiaal overleg via de interne overleglijn, het schrijven van protocollen en beleidsstukken en het verzorgen van voordrachten en presentaties.
