The posting

Ken jij je truck, ken je de weg en steek je op de werf ook graag de handen uit de mouwen? Dan weten wij wat we zoeken. Voor een familiebedrijf in de wegenbouw zoeken we een meewerkend chauffeur die zelfstandig zijn plan kan trekken. Geen job waarbij iemand voortdurend over je schouder meekijkt. Je krijgt je opdracht, kent je verantwoordelijkheid en zorgt dat het werk vooruitgaat. Je vertrekt dagelijks vanuit het depot in Lichtervelde en werkt voornamelijk in West- en Oost-Vlaanderen en Henegouwen.

Je:

  • Rijdt met een 3-as, 4-as of oplegger met kiptrailer
  • Vervoert materialen naar en van de werven
  • Werkt mee op de werf wanneer dat nodig is
  • Helpt collega's waar je kunt
  • Zorgt ervoor dat vrachten efficiënt worden uitgevoerd
  • Houdt rekening met planning, tijd en kosten
  • Meldt problemen of afwijkingen tijdig aan de zaakvoerder
  • Vult je CMR's en grondstoffendocumenten correct in
  • Zorgt goed voor het materiaal
  • Vermijdt lege ritten en zorgt ervoor dat de truck efficiënt wordt ingezet

Heb je kennis van of interesse in het rijden met een borstelwagen? Dan is dat zeker een plus.

Waar ga je werken? We zoeken geen chauffeur die alleen maar van A naar B rijdt. Je moet kunnen schakelen: de ene klant vraagt een andere aanpak dan de andere. Je werkt voor verschillende opdrachtgevers, van bedrijven tot gemeenten en overheidsinstanties. Daarom verwachten we iemand die stevig in zijn schoenen staat, maar tegelijk professioneel en correct met klanten kan omgaan. Kort gezegd: haar op je tanden wanneer het moet, fluwelen handschoenen wanneer het kan. We zoeken daarom iemand die:

  • Ervaring heeft als chauffeur
  • Beschikt over Code 95
  • Kennis heeft van wegenisproducten
  • Ervaring heeft met 3-assers, 4-assers en/of opleggers met kiptrailer
  • Goed overweg kan met verschillende types klanten
  • Nederlandstalig is
  • Kennis heeft van de wegen in West-Vlaanderen, Oost-Vlaanderen en Henegouwen
  • Communicatief en collegiaal is
  • Zelfstandig kan werken
  • Goed kan plannen en prioriteiten stellen
  • Niet bang is om vragen te stellen wanneer iets niet duidelijk is
  • Zorgvuldig omgaat met vrachtwagen en materiaal

Je werkt bovendien met collega's en arbeiders van verschillende nationaliteiten. Kun jij duidelijk communiceren én tegelijk goed samenwerken met verschillende mensen? Dan zit je hier goed.
