In de regio Harelbeke zoeken we voor een gevestigde metaalverwerkende onderneming een meewerkend ploegchef die zijn ploeg dagelijks aanstuurt én operationeel ondersteunt. De organisatie is gespecialiseerd in hoogwaardige maatwerkconstructies in staal, inox en aluminium en staat bekend om haar precisie, klantgerichtheid en doorgedreven vakmanschap. Als onderdeel van een grotere bedrijvengroep met meerdere zusterbedrijven, behoort dit bedrijf tot de toonaangevende spelers in zijn niche in West-Vlaanderen. Met meer dan 100 medewerkers verspreid over verschillende sites en een jaarlijkse omzet boven de 25 miljoen euro, koppelt deze firma industriële slagkracht aan een warme, familiale bedrijfscultuur.

In jouw rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie van de werkzaamheden binnen jouw ploeg. Je verdeelt de taken, motiveert je teamleden en ziet toe op veiligheid, kwaliteit en efficiëntie. Tegelijk werk je zelf actief mee, grijp je in waar nodig en vorm je de brug tussen medewerkers en leidinggevenden. Dankzij jouw ervaring, people skills en hands-on mentaliteit til je je team én het productieproces naar een hoger niveau.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Coördinatie van de dagelijkse planning en overzicht houden over de verschillende afdelingen zoals op- en afrek, voorbehandeling, lakken en verpakken
  • Actieve kwaliteitscontrole van de gelakte stukken en het eindproduct, met oog voor detail en afwerking
  • Aansturen, begeleiden en opvolgen van het team, inclusief werkverdeling en evaluatie van prestaties
  • Inwerken en opleiden van nieuwe medewerkers om hen snel en efficiënt mee te nemen in de werking
  • Tijdig signaleren van knelpunten en pragmatisch oplossen van conflicten binnen het team
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor zowel collega’s als klanten en zorgen voor duidelijke communicatie bij ploegwissels
  • Actief meewerken op de werkvloer wanneer nodig, met focus op samenwerking, voorbeeldgedrag en resultaat
  • Coachen en motiveren van mensen gaat vanzelf, dankzij een mensgerichte aanpak en sterke teamfocus
  • Orde, stiptheid en netheid zijn vanzelfsprekende waarden binnen de manier van werken
  • Stressbestendig en nauwkeurig werken vormt geen probleem, ook niet in een technische of snelle werkomgeving
  • Heftruckervaring is een plus maar opleiding wordt voorzien; kennis van poederlakken is mooi meegenomen
  • Talenkennis Nederlands en Engels gewenst
