In de regio Ieper maak je deel uit van een sterk verankerde producent binnen de bouwmaterialensector, die wereldwijd actief is en meer dan 22.000 medewerkers telt. In België werk je mee aan dit verhaal in een van de 17 productievestigingen, waar in totaal zo’n 1500 collega’s aan de slag zijn. Ondanks de internationale schaal voel je hier de kracht van een lokaal team: korte lijnen, een warme sfeer en ruimte om als vakman echt het verschil te maken. De activiteiten zijn opgedeeld in twee hoofddivisies: enerzijds producten voor dak-, wand- en geveltoepassingen, anderzijds innovatieve oplossingen voor piping en infrastructuur.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Jij zorgt ervoor dat het volledige machinepark vlot blijft draaien dankzij jouw curatief en preventief onderhoud
  • Als mekanieker bouw je mee aan constructies op basis van technische plannen en herstelt of reviseert machineonderdelen waar nodig
  • Je werkt dagelijks met hydraulica, pneumatica en mechanische aandrijvingen
  • Lassen, draaien en frezen met conventionele methodes behoren tot je vaste routine
  • Je bespreekt je werk regelmatig met operatoren en teamleiders en stelt verbeteringen voor
  • Werken in een ruwe industriële omgeving schrikt jou niet af
  • Je beschikt over een diploma in een technische richting of kan gelijkwaardige ervaring voorleggen binnen een rol als mechanisch monteur/technieker
  • Kennis van hydraulica en pneumatica is noodzakelijk, basiskennis elektriciteit is mooi meegenomen
  • Je hebt ervaring met lassen (halfautomaat en elektrode), draaien en frezen
