Als MES Engineer werk je op het snijvlak van IT en industriële automatisering bij een internationale producent van steenwol in Roermond. Je ontwikkelt en ondersteunt systemen voor het verwerken, volgen en monitoren van productiedata, van afzonderlijke machines tot complete productielijnen. Je sluit aan bij een internationaal MES-team van 10 collega's, voornamelijk in Denemarken, Polen en Nederland. Functie-inhoud - Je ontwikkelt, implementeert en onderhoudt Manufacturing Execution Systems voor internationale productielocaties. - Je levert besturingssystemen voor projecten, van kleine machineleveringen tot complete greenfield-fabrieken. - Je voert service-, inbedrijfstellings- en trainingsbezoeken uit op locatie. - Je ondersteunt productiefaciliteiten bij technische problemen met MES- en automatiseringssoftware. - Je verdiept je in het steenwolproductieproces en de bijbehorende proces- en besturingssystemen. - Je reist tot 60 dagen per jaar naar productielocaties in de VS, Azië en Europa. Functie-eisen - Je hebt programmeervaardigheden in C#, SQL en .NET en interesse in softwareontwikkeling. - Je hebt IT-kennis van netwerkontwerp, serverconfiguratie, virtualisatie en beveiliging. - Je kent industriële processen; brede kennis van productieprocessen en productie-efficiëntie is een pluspunt. - Je analyseert technische problemen, beoordeelt ontwerpen en communiceert helder met collega's en interne klanten. - Je spreekt vloeiend Engels; aanvullende talen zijn een pluspunt. - Kennis van dataverzameling en -verwerking met SQL, bijvoorbeeld via Wonderware Historian, is een pre. - Kennis van PLC- en SCADA-systemen zoals Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens S7 en WinCC en aanvullende automatiseringssoftware is een pre.
