Metaalmonteur | Maatwerk & Montage Van een stuk staal tot een installatie die draait.

Wil je niet elke dag hetzelfde onderdeel maken? Werk je graag zelfstandig en vind je het leuk om af en toe uit je vertrouwde werkplaats te komen? Dan zit je hier goed.

Je start met een technisch plan, bouwt in het atelier jouw constructie op en gaat daarna mee naar de klant om ze te monteren. Zo zie je niet alleen wat je gemaakt hebt, maar ook waar het uiteindelijk voor dient.

Vandaag ben je bezig met staal, inox of aluminium. Morgen leer je misschien kunststoflassen. En wanneer jouw constructie later deel uitmaakt van een volledige poederlakinstallatie, weet je precies welk stuk jij hebt gebouwd.

Je maakt het. Je gaat ermee op pad. Je ziet het werken.

Wat ga je doen? Je krijgt een brede rol binnen het volledige traject van een technische installatie. Jouw werk bestaat uit:

  • Je leest technische tekeningen en zet ze om in een concreet werkstuk
  • Je zaagt, boort, plooit en bewerkt platen en profielen
  • Je last constructies in staal, inox en aluminium met TIG en MIG/MAG
  • Je bouwt onderdelen zelfstandig samen tot een groter geheel
  • Je werkt aan maatwerk voor industriële poederlakinstallaties
  • Je krijgt de kans om kunststoflassen met PE en PP aan te leren
  • Je gaat mee op verplaatsing om jouw constructies bij de klant te monteren
  • Je volgt jouw werk van ruw materiaal tot afgewerkte installatie
  • Je werkt mee aan installaties die in België en het buitenland worden geplaatst

Je zit dus niet vast aan één machine of één onderdeel van het proces. Je krijgt de ruimte om verschillende technieken te gebruiken en steeds meer zelf op te nemen.

Waar kom je terecht? Je komt terecht bij een Belgische technische onderneming die al sinds 1992 poederlakinstallaties ontwerpt en bouwt.

Alles gebeurt vanuit de eigen vestiging: van ontwerp en metaalbewerking tot montage bij de klant. Ondertussen zijn er meer dan 500 installaties actief bij klanten in Europa.

De projecten combineren metaalbewerking met engineering en automatisering. Daardoor blijft er technisch genoeg te ontdekken: van een compacte manuele installatie tot een volledig geautomatiseerd systeem met robotica.

Je werkt in een omgeving waar vakmanschap en techniek samenkomen, maar krijgt tegelijk de vrijheid om je eigen werk mee vorm te geven.

Wil je niet jarenlang hetzelfde onderdeel produceren, maar een project van begin tot einde meemaken?Dan is dit jouw kans om breder te werken, nieuwe technieken te leren en af en toe letterlijk de baan op te gaan met iets dat je zelf hebt gebouwd. Je kent metaalbewerking en weet hoe je van een plan naar een degelijk werkstuk gaat. Daarnaast:

  • Heb je een technische opleiding in metaal, lassen of mechanica, of gelijkwaardige praktijkervaring
  • Kan je technische plannen zelfstandig lezen en interpreteren
  • Heb je ervaring met een plooibank, zaagmachine, schaar en kolomboormachine
  • Heb je een goede kennis van TIG- en MIG/MAG-lassen
  • Vind je het interessant om af en toe mee op verplaatsing te gaan voor montage
