The posting

Voor een stabiel en gespecialiseerd metaalverwerkend bedrijf in de regio Sint-Niklaas zoeken we een Metaalbewerker die graag technisch bezig is en voldoening haalt uit nauwkeurig en kwalitatief afgewerkt maatwerk.

Je werkt in het atelier aan fijn en gevarieerd inox maatwerk, onder meer voor toepassingen binnen de voedingsindustrie, farmaceutische sector en machinebouw.

Jouw taken

Je voert verschillende metaalbewerkingen uit:

- boren en tappen;

- plaatwalsen;

- onderdelen monteren en samenstellen;

- slijpen en zorgvuldig afwerken;

- onderdelen meten en controleren;

- werken op basis van technische plannen;

- onderdelen passend maken en correct afwerken;

- meedenken over de beste manier om een werkstuk technisch en kwalitatief goed uit te voeren.

Afhankelijk van je ervaring en interesse krijg je de mogelijkheid om bijkomende metaalbewerkingen aan te leren en verder te groeien in je vak.

  • Je hebt ervaring met metaalbewerking.
  • Je bent handig en technisch aangelegd.
  • Je denkt logisch en begrijpt hoe onderdelen moeten worden opgebouwd en afgewerkt.
  • Je kunt een technisch plan lezen en interpreteren.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor kwaliteit en detail.
  • Je kunt zelfstandig werken en functioneert ook goed in teamverband.
  • Je kunt overweg met een computer; basiskennis is voldoende.
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt goed Nederlands.
  • Je zoekt een stabiele job en wilt je voor langere tijd engageren.
  • Ervaring met inox of plaatbewerking is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste.
  • Ervaring als metaalbewerker, constructiewerker, lasser, monteur of in een vergelijkbare technische functie kan eveneens aansluiten.
