Heb jij oog voor kwaliteit, veiligheid en teamwork? Dan is deze vacature iets voor jou! Voor een van onze opdrachtgevers zijn wij op zoek naar een vakbekwame Scheepsmetaalbewerker. In deze functie werk je samen met collega's aan het repareren, aanpassen en installeren van stalen scheepsonderdelen. Je ontvangt dagelijks je opdrachten van de voorman en werkt nauw samen met productiecoördinatoren en andere vakdisciplines. Wat ga je doen als metaalbewerker scheepsbouw? Als scheepsmetaalbewerker ben je verantwoordelijk voor het passend maken en installeren van scheepsonderdelen aan de hand van tekeningen, schema's en mondelinge instructies. Je levert vakwerk en draagt bij aan veilige en efficiënte werkzaamheden binnen het project. Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit: - Ontvangen en interpreteren van werkopdrachten, tekeningen en schema's; - Overleggen met de voorman of productiecoördinator over de uitvoering van werkzaamheden; - Bepalen van de meest doelmatige werkwijze en het juiste gebruik van materialen, gereedschappen en persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen; - Uitvoeren van staalwerkzaamheden zoals snijbranden, slijpen, afbramen en hechten; - Voorbereiden en opstellen van constructies ten behoeve van reparatie en onderhoud; - Treffen van maatregelen tegen vervorming bij laswerkzaamheden (zoals voorbocht en vooropening); - Bedienen van vast opgestelde machines; - Uitvoeren van metingen en invullen van meetrapporten; - Maken van mallen en het aftekenen en aanbrengen van staalwerk; - Plaatsen en stellen van onderdelen met behulp van trekgereedschap, pompen en kranen; - Richten van vervormde delen na ...
