We zoeken iemand die:

  • Fysiek werk aankan en bereid is om dit dagelijks uit te voeren.

  • Bereid is om te werken in 3 ploegen of een volcontinu systeem.
  • Gemotiveerd is en op zoek naar een stabiele functie op lange termijn.
  • Ervaring heeft met metaalbewerking of gelijkaardige fysiek zware jobs.
  • Vlot Nederlands spreekt, leest en schrijft.
  • Zelfstandig tot Duffel kan komen met eigen vervoer.

Functieomschrijving

Als operator in onze gieterij ben je verantwoordelijk voor een cruciale fase in het productieproces. Jouw taken omvatten:

  • Laden van de smeltoven met behulp van een heftruck.
  • Controleren van grondstoffen en voorbereiden van het gietproces.
  • Nemen en analyseren van staalmonsters in samenwerking met het automatische labo.
  • Nauwkeurig opvolgen van het gietproces en ingrijpen bij afwijkingen.
  • Controleren van samenstelling en kwaliteit van het gesmolten metaal.
  • Registreren van procesgegevens en rapporteren aan de teamleider.
  • Reinigen en onderhouden van gietinstallaties en smeltovens.
  • Verwijderen van restanten uit gietbakken na elk proces.
  • Strikte naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften en minimaliseren van contact met vloeibaar aluminium.
