GVB is de opdrachtgever en de organisatie waar je daadwerkelijk als metrobestuurder aan de slag gaat. GVB is het openbaar vervoerbedrijf van en voor Amsterdam. Dagelijks vervoert GVB duizenden reizigers met de tram door de stad. Daarbij staan gastvrijheid, veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid centraal. Als metrobestuurder ben jij een belangrijk onderdeel van GVB. Jij zorgt ervoor dat reizigers veilig en comfortabel op hun bestemming komen en houdt het spoor veilig. Je werkt midden in Amsterdam, in een dynamische omgeving waarin geen dag hetzelfde is. Ben jij verantwoordelijk, veiligheidsbewust en servicegericht? En vind je het leuk om met techniek te werken? Dan is de functie van metrobestuurder bij GVB misschien wel iets voor jou. Je bent iemand die rustig blijft in verschillende situaties, verantwoordelijkheid durft te nemen en reizigers graag een veilige en prettige reis bezorgt. Functieomschrijving Jij neemt plaats in de bestuurderscabine en bereidt je voor op vertrek. Op het perron wachten reizigers op hun metro, onderweg naar werk, studie of een afspraak in de stad. Zodra de deuren sluiten, breng jij hen veilig en volgens dienstregeling naar hun bestemming. Onderweg zie je Amsterdam continu veranderen. Het ene moment rijd je onder de drukte van de stad door, het volgende moment kijk je uit over het water of de skyline.
