Als Mid-Level Advocaat Octrooirecht bij Bird & Bird voer jij de regie in complexe, grensoverschrijdende IP-procedures voor toonaangevende cliënten. Je combineert diepgaande juridische expertise met strategisch inzicht, en vervult een spilfunctie binnen een team dat de toon zet in de Nederlandse octrooiwereld. Beschrijving Bird & Bird staat wereldwijd bekend als het kantoor op het gebied van intellectueel eigendomsrecht en octrooirecht. Wij procederen in grote octrooiprocedures in zaken die steeds complexer worden, vaak bij het nieuwe Unified Patent Court, maar ook in nationale procedures, bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van telecommunicatie en elektronica, geneesmiddelen, medische hulpmiddelen en biotechnologie. Maar ook gebieden als hernieuwbare energie en consumentengoederen. Onze Nederlandse octrooipraktijk heeft een sterke groei doorgemaakt, mede door twee partnerbenoemingen en een toonaangevende positie in UPC-procedures. We treden op voor gerenommeerde cliënten als Celltrion, Dexcom, KPN en GSK, in zaken die de grenzen van het octrooirecht verleggen. Met de introductie van het UPC zijn procedures veeleisender en veelzijdiger geworden: procedures lopen over meerdere jurisdicties heen, vragen om dagelijkse cliëntbetrokkenheid en strategisch denken op hoog niveau. Dit vraagt om ervaren advocaten die zelfstandig de regie kunnen voeren. We zoeken een gedreven Mid-level Advocaat die klaar is om die verantwoordelijkheid op te pakken en voldoening haalt uit het doorgronden en leiden van complexe zaken.
