Hoe ziet de job eruit?

Als Tandem-begeleider autisme bied je praktische (ped)agogische ondersteuning aan kinderen, jongeren en volwassenen met autisme. Je gaat aan huis en ondersteunt hen bij het aanleren en inoefenen van specifieke vaardigheden. Het gaat dan over taken aangaande zelfredzaamheid, huishoudelijke vaardigheden, schoolse vaardigheden of vrije tijd. Je bouwt een vertrouwensband met je cliënten op en je versterkt hun zelfstandigheid.

  • Je werkt graag met kinderen, jongeren en volwassenen met autisme in een thuiscontext.
  • Je neemt actief deel aan de teamwerking van Het Raster. M inimaal eenmaal per maand neem je deel aan de teamvergadering met de thuisbegeleiders en één keer om de twee weken neem je deel aan de teamvergadering met alle praktische (ped)agogische begeleiders.

Het Raster is al 25 jaar een klinkende naam in de begeleiding van mensen met autisme. Jaarlijks begeleiden we 2000 cliënten en hun context in de provincies Antwerpen, Vlaams-Brabant en Brussel. We ondersteunen ook andere organisaties in het omgaan met personen met autisme. Het Raster maakt deel uit van een krachtig samenwerkingsverband: de Liga Autisme Vlaanderen.

Wij hechten veel belang aan een prettige werksfeer, waarin elke medewerker de ruimte krijgt om te groeien. Wederzijds respect, goede communicatie en een gezonde collegialiteit zijn kernwaarden. Als starter krijg je bij ons een interne opleidingsperiode van een half jaar. Zo ben je optimaal voorbereid op je opdracht.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

Je hebt ervaring op het vlak van autisme of je wil je hierin graag verdiepen. Je organiseert je werk zelfstandig, je staat stevig in je schoenen en je bent leergierig. Je hebt een open houding en transparante communicatiestijl. Maar in de eerste plaats ben je iemand die gedreven is om mensen met autisme en hun context te helpen.

Verder heb je:

  • Een diploma leefgroepenwerking, jeugd- en gehandicaptenzorg of van een gelijkaardig niveau.
  • een wagen ter beschikking en een rijbewijs B.
  • Je woont in Vlaams-Brabant regio Leuven-Diest-Tienen.
