Monteur Interventievoertuigen | Bouw mee aan voertuigen die ertoe doen

Een gewone montagejob? Niet helemaal. Hier zie je elke dag iets concreets ontstaan onder je handen. Je begint met een voertuig en bouwt dat stap voor stap om tot een interventiewagen die klaar moet zijn wanneer het erop aankomt.

Je werkt in het atelier in Harelbeke, samen met een klein team van technische collega’s. Geen massawerk of eindeloze herhaling, wel maatwerk waarbij je regelmatig iets moet uitzoeken, aanpassen of slimmer aanpakken. Heb je technisch inzicht en werk je graag degelijk? Dan krijg je hier de kans om een vak echt onder de knie te krijgen.

Wat ga je doen? Als monteur werk je mee aan de inrichting van verschillende interventievoertuigen. Je zorgt ervoor dat materiaal en uitrusting een vaste plaats krijgen en dat alles technisch klopt tot in de details

  • Je monteert en installeert brandweeruitrusting in verschillende voertuigen
  • Je maakt opbergoplossingen op maat van het voertuig en de uitrusting
  • Je bevestigt mechanische onderdelen en past ze aan wanneer nodig
  • Je werkt samen met collega’s uit het atelier en andere technische afdelingen
  • Je bekijkt hoe een montage het best wordt aangepakt
  • Je merkt problemen op en zoekt mee naar een praktische oplossing
  • Je zorgt voor een verzorgde en degelijke afwerking

Waar ga je werken? Onze klant bouwt al sinds 1970 voertuigen voor brandweer, civiele bescherming en industriële hulpdiensten. Vanuit de moderne ateliers in Harelbeke worden verschillende interventievoertuigen opgebouwd, telkens volgens de noden van de eindgebruiker.

Dat zorgt voor behoorlijk wat variatie in je werk. De ene keer werk je aan een autopomp, de andere keer aan een tankwagen of een gespecialiseerd voertuig.

Je werkt samen met een 30-tal collega’s in een omgeving waar technische kennis al jaren wordt doorgegeven. Je leert van mensen die hun vak kennen en krijgt tegelijk de kans om je eigen ervaring verder uit te bouwen.

Zin om iets te maken waar je achteraf met een gerust gevoel naar kijkt? Heb je technisch inzicht, werk je graag praktisch en krijg je voldoening van iets dat écht goed in elkaar zit? Dan is dit misschien de volgende stap voor jou. Je hoeft geen ervaring te hebben met brandweerwagens om hier goed te starten. Heb je al eens iets gemonteerd, gebouwd of op maat gemaakt? Dan heb je alvast een goede basis.

  • Je hebt een technische opleiding of relevante werkervaring
  • Je bent handig en hebt technisch inzicht
  • Je werkt graag met je handen en houdt van degelijk werk
  • Ervaring met montage, inrichting, plaatsing of maatwerk is een plus
  • Ook een achtergrond in bijvoorbeeld houtbewerking kan perfect aansluiten
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en hebt oog voor een verzorgde afwerking
  • Je kunt zelfstandig werken, maar stemt vlot af met collega’s
