Als monteur werk je aan mobiliteitshulpmiddelen zoals scootmobielen, rollators en badliften. Je begint op de binnendienst en groeit door naar de buitendienst. Je werkt 32 tot 40 uur per week, meestal tussen 08:00 en 17:00 uur. De functie is veelzijdig: je repareert, installeert en programmeert hulpmiddelen. Je hebt veel contact met klanten en bezoekt hen thuis. Elke dag is anders. Je werkt zelfstandig, maar kunt altijd rekenen op je collega's. De sfeer is informeel en direct, met ruimte voor een grapje en onderlinge steun. Bij storingsdienst krijg je een werkbus mee en eens in de acht à negen weken draai je een storingsdienst, waarvoor je extra vergoeding ontvangt. Je wordt goed ingewerkt en begeleid door ervaren collega's. In het eerste jaar leer je stap voor stap alles wat je nodig hebt. Je helpt mensen direct en ziet het resultaat van je werk.
