Zeker op een luxe jacht, waar straks alles naadloos op elkaar moet aansluiten. Als Monteur Deuren en Luiken zit jouw werk precies in die details. Meten, monteren, controleren en opnieuw afstellen tot het klopt. Solliciteer direct Van werkplaats naar jacht: Je werkt afwisselend in de werkplaats en aan boord van luxe nieuwbouwjachten. In de werkplaats bouw je deuren en luiken verder op en monteer je onder andere scharnieren, beslag en hang- en sluitwerk. Waar nodig voer je kleine metaalbewerkingen uit, bijvoorbeeld boren of het aanpassen van onderdelen in staal of aluminium. Daarna gaat het werk verder aan boord. Hier monteer je onder andere branddeuren, schuifdeuren, water- en weerdichte deuren, luiken, kozijnen en frames. Aan de hand van technische tekeningen bepaal je de juiste positie en zorg je dat alles nauwkeurig wordt geplaatst. Tijdens een volgende fase stel je de deuren en luiken verder af. Ze moeten soepel openen en sluiten, goed aansluiten op de omliggende afwerking en voldoen aan de technische eisen. Daarbij werk je regelmatig met een laser om alles exact uit te lijnen. Je werkt samen met verschillende vakmensen aan boord. Dat maakt nauwkeurig werken extra belangrijk: wat jij plaatst, moet later precies aansluiten op het werk van andere disciplines.
