Je komt terecht bij een internationale machinebouwer die gespecialiseerd is in de ontwikkeling en productie van hoogtechnologische machines voor uiteenlopende sectoren. De kans is groot dat je dagelijks producten gebruikt die met behulp van hun machines tot stand komen, zonder dat je het zelf beseft. Achter die technologie schuilt heel wat technische kennis, nauwkeurigheid en vakmanschap.

Als mechanisch monteur werk je mee aan de opbouw van deze machines, waarbij vooral fijne mechanische montage centraal staat. Je combineert zelfstandig precisiewerk met een vleugje elektriciteit en controleert of alles perfect functioneert. Een functie voor iemand die graag met zijn handen werkt, maar ook zijn technisch inzicht volop wil benutten.

En ook de sfeer zit goed! Je komt terecht in een hecht team van een tiental collega's die al jarenlang samenwerken en elkaar door en door kennen. Ondanks het internationale karakter blijft er ruimte voor persoonlijk contact, een gezellige drink of een etentje na het werk. Hier draait het niet alleen om sterke machines, maar ook om de mensen die ze bouwen.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als mechanisch monteur sta je in voor de fijnmechanische montage van hoogtechnologische machines, waarbij je zelfstandig aan de slag gaat op basis van technische tekeningen
  • Naast het mechanische werk neem je ook de nodige elektrische basismontage voor je rekening, zodat alle onderdelen correct op elkaar aansluiten
  • Vervolgens voer je testen en kwaliteitscontroles uit om na te gaan of jouw montagewerk voldoet aan de technische vereisten
  • Met jouw oog voor detail en nauwkeurige aanpak draag je bij aan een kwalitatief eindresultaat waar je met trots op kunt terugkijken
  • Je beschikt over een technisch A2-diploma of hebt via praktijkervaring een gelijkwaardige technische kennis opgebouwd
  • Ervaring met fijne mechanische montage is mooi meegenomen en geeft je alvast een mooie voorsprong
  • Daarnaast lees en interpreteer je vlot technische tekeningen en beschik je over het nodige mechanische inzicht om nauwkeurig te monteren en eenvoudige elektrische werkzaamheden uit te voeren
