Daarom zoekt Klaar voor Morgen toezichthouders nieuwe stijl. Mensen die met een open blik, lef en maatschappelijke sensitiviteit invulling geven aan modern toezicht. Die niet afwachten, maar vooruitkijken. Niet alleen controleren, maar ook reflecteren, agenderen en het goede gesprek voeren. Kortom: toezichthouders die klaar zijn voor morgen. Wat ga je doen? Als lid van een Raad van Toezicht vervul je de toezichthoudende, adviserende en werkgeversrol richting de bestuurder, binnen de kaders van de statuten, de governancecode en het toezichtkader van de organisatie. Je oordeelt op hoofdlijnen, toetst besluiten aan de strategie en risicobereidheid van de organisatie, en legt hierover verantwoording af aan de stakeholders. Wat dit concreet inhoudt, verschilt per organisatie, maar in de kern gaat het altijd om: - Je beoordeelt strategische vraagstukken en de daaraan verbonden risico's, bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van financiën & bedrijfsvoering, zorg, ICT, vastgoed, HR of governance. - Je vervult je toezichthoudende taak vanuit vertrouwen, met ruimte voor kritische en onderbouwde tegenspraak. - Je participeert in een commissie binnen de Raad (bijvoorbeeld auditcommissie, remuneratiecommissie of kwaliteits- en veiligheidscommissie), passend bij jouw expertise. - Je toetst of de organisatie in control is en signaleert risico's tijdig, met oog voor wat er speelt bij bewoners, cliënten, leerlingen, bezoekers of medewerkers. - Je draagt bij aan een open en professionele toezichtcultuur, waarin verschillende perspectieven welkom zijn en constructieve tegenspraak als essentieel onderdeel van goed bestuur wordt gezien.
