The posting

Als medewerker in onze spinnerij help je mee om wol en andere natuurlijke vezels van onze klanten te verwerken tot een kwalitatief eindproduct.

Je werkt met alpaca-, schapen-, angora- en andere natuurlijke vezels. Afhankelijk van de opdracht worden deze verwerkt tot onder andere garen, kaardvlies of andere vezelproducten.

Binnen Tumulus Fiber Mill verwerken we wol met aandacht voor kwaliteit, duurzaamheid en vakmanschap. Iedere vacht en iedere klantopdracht verdient daarom een zorgvuldige behandeling.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Je staat mee in voor het volledige productieproces binnen de spinnerij.

Dit omvat onder andere:

  • Ontvangen, controleren en identificeren van aangeleverde wol.
  • Sorteren en voorbereiden van vezels voor verwerking.
  • Verwijderen van ongewenst materiaal en beoordelen van de kwaliteit van de wol.
  • Wassen en drogen van wol.
  • Bedienen van machines voor de verschillende stappen van de wolverwerking.
  • Kaarden en voorbereiden van vezels voor het spinnen.
  • Spinnen van garens volgens de gewenste dikte en specificaties.
  • Twijnen, opwinden en verder afwerken van garens.
  • Wegen, etiketteren en correct registreren van afgewerkte producten.
  • Controleren van de kwaliteit tijdens iedere productiefase.
  • Klantpartijen zorgvuldig gescheiden en herkenbaar houden.
  • Reinigen van machines en werkruimte tussen verschillende producties.
  • Uitvoeren van eenvoudig dagelijks onderhoud aan de machines.
  • Signaleren van technische problemen of afwijkingen in het productieproces.
  • Verpakken en voorbereiden van afgewerkte bestellingen.

Kwaliteit

Kwaliteit is binnen Tumulus Fiber Mill belangrijker dan snelheid alleen.

Je leert herkennen hoe verschillende soorten wol en vezels zich gedragen tijdens het productieproces. Je controleert regelmatig het resultaat en stuurt de machine-instellingen bij wanneer dat nodig is.

Omdat de kwaliteit van natuurlijke vezels per vacht kan verschillen, verwachten we dat je aandachtig werkt en afwijkingen tijdig meldt.

Ervaring in een spinnerij of textielomgeving is een voordeel, maar geen absolute vereiste. Belangrijker zijn interesse, nauwkeurigheid en de bereidheid om het vak te leren.

We zoeken iemand die:

  • graag praktisch en met de handen werkt;
  • nauwkeurig en ordelijk is;
  • oog heeft voor kwaliteit en detail;
  • zelfstandig kan werken na een opleidingsperiode;
  • verantwoordelijkheid neemt voor zijn of haar werk;
  • zorgvuldig omgaat met materiaal van klanten;
  • bereid is verschillende machines te leren bedienen;
  • interesse heeft in wol, natuurlijke vezels en ambachtelijke productie;
  • graag werkt in een kleinschalige omgeving waar verschillende taken gecombineerd worden;
  • Nederlands of Engels begrijpt.
