Voor deze vacature zoeken we kandidaten die momenteel in Nederland wonen. We bieden voor deze functie geen huisvesting of ondersteuning bij het vinden van een woonruimte. Stayokay Amsterdam Oost is een internationaal hostel gevestigd in een oude ambachtsschool, midden in de hippe Indische buurt op slechts 15 minuten afstand van het centrum van Amsterdam.Dit is de grootste Stayokay locatie en beschikt over een groot terras op het Timorplein, een living area én restaurant The 5th. Heb jij Front Office en/of bewaking ervaring en ben je klaar voor een nieuwe uitdaging Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou! Voor Stayokay Amsterdam Oost zoeken wij een Nachtreceptionist(e). Jij gaat... • het eerste aanspreekpunt zijn voor gasten tijdens de nacht • toezicht houden op de orde en veiligheid in en rondom het hostel • uitvoeren van controlerondes in en om het hostel en toezicht houden via beveiligingscamera's • gasten ontvangen, in- en uitchecken indien nodig • intiatief nemen en adequaat handelen bij incidenten volgens de vastgestelde protocollen • kleine administratieve taken en rapportages maken van de nacht • het hostel netjes en schoon houden door onder andere tafels in de bar af te nemen en het terras op orde te maken. • tot 3 nachten per week werken Jij hebt... • een groot verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel en blijft kalm onder druk • een servicegerichte en vriendelijke houding tegenover gasten • een BHV en Sociale Hygiëne certificaat op zak, maar dit is geen must • geen moeite met de Nederlandse en Engelse taal • bij voorkeur ervaring in beveiliging of hospitality (maar dat is geen vereiste) • het vermogen om zelfstandig en besluitvaardig te handelen • er geen problemen mee alleen in de nacht te werken, voornamelijk in het weekend, doordeweeks en in het weekend, beter gezegd je bent een écht nachtvlinder • een open-mind en drive en vindt duurzaamheid belangrijk!
