The posting

Als nachtverpleegkundige in het woonzorgcentrum sta je samen met jouw collega zorgkundige in voor de goede verpleging en verzorging van 101 bewoners. Voor elk van deze bewoners sta je in voor hun levenskwaliteit, hun welbevinden en hun ontplooiing. Kortom, jouw missie is om een aangenaam verblijf aan te bieden en een glimlach op hun gezicht te toveren. Je maakt deel uit van een team van verpleegkundigen en zorgkundigen. Elke afdeling wordt geleid door een teamcoach. Je staat in voor de verschillende deeltaken die behoren tot het pakket van de verpleegkunde (bvb. medicatie klaarzetten, voorbereiden, medicatie bestellen, insulinemetingen en -toedieningen, bewoners naar bed begeleiden, incontinentietoeren, …). Je neemt deel aan overleg en, indien gewenst, ook aan kwaliteitsverbeterende projecten. Jouw expertise als nachtverpleegkundige is een essentieel onderdeel van onze goede werking. Je staat de dokter en de familie te woord over het verblijf van de bewoners.

Op de site zijn ook assistentiewoningen aanwezig waarvoor het WZC instaat voor de nachtpermanentie.

De nachtdienst start om 21u05 en eindigt om 07u05. Je werkt 1 weekend op 2. Je uurrooster wordt in overleg met de collega’s opgesteld.

• Je bent afgestudeerd als verpleegkundige (A1 of A2)

• Je bent communicatief en sociaal sterk,

• Je hebt een hart voor ouderen, affiniteit met hun leefwereld en voelt de noden en wensen van de bewoners aan.

• Je beschikt over goede verpleegtechnische vaardigheden

• Je beschikt over een grote dosis zelfstandigheid. Je bent creatief in het bedenken van oplossingen, hebt zin voor initiatief en samenwerking met je collega’s.

• Jouw gedrevenheid en enthousiasme werken aanstekelijk.

• Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands (bewijs taalkennis C1/B2). Het voeren van een gesprek in team, met bewoner, dokter en familie is deel van de job, waarvoor je voldoende Nederlands moet kunnen spreken.
