The posting

Voor een gespecialiseerde logistieke dienstverlener in de regio Mechelen zijn we op zoek naar een Nationaal Transportplanner Distributie.

Deze organisatie focust op hoogwaardige B2B-oplossingen en gaat veel verder dan klassiek transport. Zo verzorgen ze onder andere de levering, installatie en het onderhoud van technische apparatuur, zware industriële machines en tijdkritische wisselstukken.

Dankzij een eigen magazijn en een sterk netwerk bieden ze hun klanten een volledige dienstverlening van A tot Z.

Functie

  • Je maakt dagelijks de planning op voor 15 eigen chauffeurs en een 15-tal externe charters.
  • Je plant uiteenlopende opdrachten in, van de levering en installatie van automaten en industriële printers tot ophaalrondes voor onderhoud in het eigen magazijn.
  • Je verdeelt de opdrachten op basis van afstand, gewicht, afmetingen, voertuigcapaciteit en de vaardigheden van iedere chauffeur.
  • Je combineert leveringen, afhalingen en retourvrachten zo efficiënt mogelijk om lege kilometers te beperken.
  • Je stuurt de chauffeurs rechtstreeks aan en brieft hen telefonisch over hun routes en de specifieke afspraken bij klanten.
  • Je vangt dringende interventies en onverwachte wijzigingen op en stuurt de planning snel bij.
  • Je verwerkt inkomende orders via mail en voert de ritten correct in het TMS in.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat de volledige planning praktisch haalbaar, efficiënt en rendabel is.

Profiel

  • Je hebt minstens twee jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie als transportplanner.
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende kennis van de Belgische postcodes.
  • Je hebt een goed ruimtelijk inzicht en kunt gewichten, volumes en laadcapaciteiten correct inschatten.
  • Je bent een geboren puzzelaar die pas tevreden is wanneer de planning logisch en rendabel in elkaar zit.
  • Je werkt vlot met software en maakt je een nieuw TMS-systeem snel eigen.
