WADM Werk HES International Industry Industrie & Engineering Services Location Nederland Website HES International Project HES International is één van Europa's grootste onafhankelijke aanbieders van op- en overslagdiensten voor droge en vloeibare bulkgoederen. Binnen de organisatie werken circa 1.350 desk- en non-deskmedewerkers, verspreid over zeven terminals en een hoofdkantoor in vier landen. HES vroeg ons om een samenhangende en schaalbare aanpak voor interne communicatie te ontwikkelen. Een structuur waarmee medewerkers op iedere locatie beter en consistenter bereikt kunnen worden, met ruimte voor zowel centrale communicatie als lokale verschillen. Keywords Uitdaging De interne communicatie verschilde sterk per terminal. E-mail, intranet, toolbox meetings, posters, mobiele apps, screensavers en infoschermen werden naast elkaar gebruikt en waren nauwelijks met elkaar verbonden. Vooral medewerkers zonder vaste computer waren daardoor lastig structureel te bereiken. Daarnaast was centrale communicatie afhankelijk van lokale contactpersonen voor vertaling en verspreiding. Zeker bij veiligheidsinformatie is het belangrijk dat boodschappen kort, duidelijk en tijdig bij iedere medewerker terechtkomen, ongeacht functie, locatie, taal of toegang tot een digitaal device. Oplossing Met surveys en interviews brachten we de communicatiepraktijk binnen de terminals en het hoofdkantoor in kaart. We onderzochten doelgroepen, bereik, gebruikte kanalen en lokale verschillen. Op basis daarvan ontwikkelden we een centrale communicatiestructuur met Netpresenter als platform voor actieve distributie via onder andere infoschermen, desktop, mobiel en alerts. Zo wordt centrale communicatie gecombineerd met ruimte voor lokale content en taal. De implementatie bij HBTR Maasvlakte vormt daarbij de blauwdruk voor de gefaseerde uitrol naar de rest van HES.
