Functie: Netwerk Engineer Organisatie: Gasunie Vacature: Netwerk Engineer (Front Desk) Over de functie: Je gaat werken als netwerkbeheerder bij de afdeling ICT Networks & Security (ITN) van de unit ICT als onderdeel van de Shared Technology Services van Gasunie (afdeling IT). De afdeling ITN bestaat uit drie teams, te weten: Network Operations Center (NOC), Security Operations Center (SOC) en IT Service Management (ITSM). Het NOC bestaat uit circa 20 medewerkers die samen het gehele ICT-netwerk van Gasunie beheren. Het netwerklandschap bestaat uit een datacenteromgeving, campus- en branchoffice-omgeving op ruim 35 locaties, een WAN-omgeving naar ruim 1400 locaties en een cloudomgeving. Wat ga je doen? - Als eerstelijns netwerkbeheerder (front desk) bewaak je de voortgang van reguliere wijzigingen, incidenten en dien je als eerste aanspreekpunt binnen het netwerkteam. De dagelijkse werkzaamheden bestaan voornamelijk uit het beantwoorden van telefoon gesprekken en vragen per e-mail. Daarnaast los je reguliere incidenten op en voor je wijzigingen door in de netwerkomgeving. Je bent primair verantwoordelijk voor de operationele bedrijfsvoering, doormiddel van het monitoren en proactief beheren van de netwerkomgeving. Daarbij stem je veel af met o.a. functioneel en technisch systeembeheerders van applicaties en/of systemen en met externe leveranciers. De producten die gebruikt worden binnen de netwerkomgeving zijn hoofdzakelijk producten van Cisco, Checkpoint en F5. Jouw profiel: - Minimaal MBO denk en werkniveau. - Kennis van veel voorkomende netwerktechnieken, zoals routing en switching, Wi-Fi, firewalling en loadbalancing. - Het hebben van een Cisco CCNA certificering is een eis. - Het hebben van een geldig VCA-certificaat of de bereidheid deze binnen circa 2 maanden te behalen is een voorwaarde. - Je bent een echte teamspeler.
