Als Jr Network Engineer bij Dstny BE werk je binnen het Delivery team. Je configureert en zet klant- en backboneapparatuur op, zodat alles van start tot oplevering vlot en correct verloopt.

Wat je doet

  • Je behandelt configuratie-aanvragen van project managers en UC project consultants.
  • Je ondersteunt techniekers on-site wanneer ze technische uitdagingen tegenkomen.
  • Je bereidt alle nodige technische preconfiguraties voor klantinstallaties voor.
  • Je treedt op als technisch consultant in klantgerichte projecten en werkt nauw samen met de Project Manager om de technische scope op te leveren.
  • Je ondersteunt onze field engineers tijdens installaties en lost technische problemen op wanneer die zich voordoen.
  • Je denkt proactief mee over het optimaliseren en bijsturen van procedures en processen binnen het delivery team.
  • Je geeft training en coaching aan teamleden binnen het delivery team.
  • Je maakt en onderhoudt correcte technische documentatie zodat iedereen met dezelfde informatie werkt.
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een ingenieursdiploma of technische master, met minstens een bachelor in IT ICT of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Bij voorkeur heb je minstens 2 jaar ervaring in IT ICT, maar we staan ook open voor starters die hun eerste uitdaging zoeken.
  • Je communiceert vlot, mondeling en schriftelijk, in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
  • Je hebt kennis van networking, waaronder Layer3, Layer2, Security, Voice en VoIP, en je configureert netwerkinfrastructuur via CLI.
  • Ervaring of kennis van Meraki, SD-WAN en firewalling is belangrijk.
  • Je hebt een positieve ingesteldheid, bent flexibel en kan met stress omgaan.
  • Je communiceert sterk en werkt klantgericht en oplossingsgericht.
  • Je kan prioriteiten stellen en zorgt dat de operationele werking vlot blijft lopen.
  • Je hebt een passie voor automatisatie en basiskennis van programmeren in Python PHP Bash of je wil dit graag leren.
  • Je werkt in een klein team met drie collega’s binnen de delivery afdeling en je hebt een klantgerichte rol waarbij customer experience cruciaal is.
