Voor een sterk groeiende, internationaal georiënteerde speler in duurzame energie zijn we op zoek naar een Network Engineer met interesse in IT/OT, industriële netwerken en cybersecurity.

Je komt terecht in een dynamische organisatie die volop inzet op zonne- en windenergie, energieopslag en laadinfrastructuur. Met honderden duurzame energie-installaties in portefeuille is betrouwbare en veilige connectiviteit cruciaal. Jij wordt mee verantwoordelijk voor de netwerkarchitectuur die deze installaties, cloudomgevingen en monitoring- en besturingssystemen met elkaar verbindt.

Jouw uitdaging

Als Network Engineer krijg je een brede en impactvolle rol. Je staat in voor het ontwerpen, configureren, beheren, standaardiseren en beveiligen van de netwerkarchitectuur binnen een groeiende portefeuille van duurzame energieprojecten.

Concreet:

  • Je beheert en optimaliseert de netwerkconnectiviteit van installaties op afstand.
  • Je werkt met VPN’s, routing, firewalls en IP-adresbeheer in zowel cloud- als on-premiseomgevingen.
  • Je zorgt voor betrouwbare communicatie tussen cloud, monitoringplatformen, besturingssystemen en remote assets.
  • Je ondersteunt IT/OT-communicatie voor monitoring, besturing en curtailment.
  • Je werkt met industriële protocollen zoals Modbus TCP en MQTT.
  • Je monitort netwerkcommunicatie, analyseert storingen en lost connectivity issues op.
  • Je coördineert toegang van externe partijen en ondersteunt het vulnerability management.
  • Je voert netwerkverbeteringen en firmware-upgrades gecontroleerd uit.
  • Je documenteert en standaardiseert netwerkarchitecturen zodat ze schaalbaar, veilig en betrouwbaar blijven.
  • Je werkt mee aan de veilige integratie van nieuwe projecten en overnames.

Kortom: je zorgt ervoor dat de digitale infrastructuur achter duurzame energie betrouwbaar blijft draaien.

We zoeken geen pure IT-specialist die alleen vanuit een kantoor naar netwerken kijkt. We zoeken iemand die nieuwsgierig is naar de combinatie van IT, OT en industriële technologie en graag begrijpt hoe systemen in de echte wereld samenwerken.

Je brengt mee:

  • Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in Network Engineering of een vergelijkbare richting.
  • Minimaal 3 jaar relevante ervaring.
  • Een sterke interesse in industriële netwerken en IT/OT.
  • Ervaring met VPN-technologie, routing, firewalls en IP-adresbeheer.
  • Ervaring in cloud- en/of on-premiseomgevingen.
  • Analytisch en conceptueel denkvermogen.
  • Een proactieve, gestructureerde en resultaatgerichte werkhouding.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels.
  • Het vermogen om vlot te schakelen wanneer prioriteiten veranderen.

Extra troeven: ervaring met NetBox of andere IPAM-/documentatietools, Power Plant Controllers en/of SCADA-systemen.
