Voor onze klant te Nieuwkerke zoeken wij een Network Infrastructure Engineer.

Onze klant is een internationale speler binnen de voedingsindustrie, gespecialiseerd in diepgevroren aardappelproducten. De organisatie beschikt over verschillende productiesites en maakt deel uit van een internationale groep met een uitgebreide IT-infrastructuur.

Voor het internationale Network Engineering team zoeken we een ervaren netwerkspecialist die mee verantwoordelijk wordt voor het beheer, de beveiliging en verdere ontwikkeling van de wereldwijde netwerkinfrastructuur.

Je werkt met verschillende netwerk- en securitytechnologieën en ondersteunt zowel de klassieke IT-omgeving als de IT/OT-systemen binnen productie. Je overlegt regelmatig met internationale IT-collega's, externe partners en het Information Security team.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Je ontwerpt, implementeert en beheert bekabelde en draadloze bedrijfsnetwerken.
  • Je optimaliseert bestaande netwerkinfrastructuren binnen een internationale multivendoromgeving.
  • Je werkt aan netwerkarchitecturen voor datacenters, productieomgevingen, cloudtoegang en security.
  • Je configureert netwerkhardware en software volgens de geldende IT-architectuur en beveiligingsrichtlijnen.
  • Je analyseert en verhelpt complexe netwerkproblemen.
  • Je bewaakt de beschikbaarheid, stabiliteit en performantie van de netwerkomgeving.
  • Je monitort netwerkverkeer en detecteert storingen of afwijkingen.
  • Je registreert en volgt incidenten op via het centrale ticketsysteem.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met het Information Security team om netwerkoplossingen veilig te implementeren.
  • Je ondersteunt de uitrol van nieuwe netwerkdiensten en coördineert de nodige testen.
  • Je overlegt met externe IT-partners, leveranciers en managed service providers.
  • Je ondersteunt internationale IT-teams bij technische implementaties.
  • Je zorgt voor correcte netwerkdocumentatie en configuratiebeheer.
  • Je volgt nieuwe netwerk- en securitytechnologieën op en adviseert over mogelijke verbeteringen.
  • Je hebt een bacheloropleiding binnen IT, netwerktechnologie of een gelijkaardige richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het beheren van complexe enterprise netwerkomgevingen.
  • Je beschikt over een sterke technische kennis van TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, wireless networking, VOIP en MPLS.
  • Je hebt ervaring met netwerkhardware en securityoplossingen zoals Juniper, Aruba/HPE en Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met netwerkbeheerplatformen en tools zoals Juniper MIST AI, Aruba Central, AirWave, ClearPass, Apstra, Panorama en Wireshark.
  • Je hebt inzicht in IT Service Management (ITSM) en serveromgevingen zoals Microsoft en Linux.
  • Je hebt kennis van moderne netwerkbeveiliging, wireless security en authenticatieoplossingen.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met Hybrid Cloud networking en technologieën zoals SD-WAN, SASE, Azure en AWS.
  • Je kan complexe netwerkproblemen analyseren en gericht oplossen.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en houdt rekening met beveiliging, continuïteit en performantie.
  • Je communiceert vlot met technische collega's, leveranciers en externe partners.
  • Je werkt graag samen binnen internationale teams.
  • Je bent bereid om occasioneel naar andere regionale of internationale vestigingen te reizen.
