Organisatie Het bedrijf van onze klant is gespecialiseerd in het leveren van netwerk-, grootschalige IP-diensten en capaciteitsdiensten wereldwijd. Op dit moment hebben ze een van de grootste netwerken in Nederland en hebben ze zwaar geautomatiseerd/geoptimaliseerd vloerwerk, waardoor ze alles zelf kunnen beheren. Het bedrijf heeft een aanzienlijk groot netwerk (4,5 Tb/s backbone) en heeft momenteel brunches met grote datacenters. Functie We zijn op zoek naar een Technical and Network Operations Engineer die verantwoordelijk is voor het in kaart brengen van het gehele netwerk via een netwerkrapport en het doen van suggesties voor verbeteringen; het beheren van het netwerk en het afhandelen van incidenten. Het is een fulltime functie met groeimogelijkheden binnen het bedrijf. We zouden graag zien dat de groei zich richt op de netwerkkant, en uiteindelijk binnen een paar jaar een extra werknemer voor de DC-vloer binnenhaalt. Deze persoon zal zich volledig richten op de netwerkkant en uitgroeien tot een Sr. Global Network Architect. Als de persoon echter ambities heeft voor een managementfunctie, zijn er in de toekomst mogelijkheden hiervoor, met nieuwe werknemers die onder zijn verantwoordelijkheid vallen. Als (en alleen als) de persoon af en toe in het buitenland werkt, zijn er toekomstige mogelijkheden om te helpen bij het opzetten of onderhouden van buitenlandse vestigingen; we hebben toekomstplannen voor extra vestigingen in India, Zwitserland, Singapore en Duitsland.
