Lidmaatschap van het domeinbestuur ENW biedt een unieke kans om meer inzicht te krijgen in de werking van de wetenschap op systeemniveau en deze te beïnvloeden. Reageren op de vacature kan tot 12 oktober 2026. Wat vragen wij van bestuursleden? De gezochte bestuursleden beschikken over onderstaande kennis en ervaring: Ervaring met NWO-domein ENW: Kennis van en affiniteit met de taak, de organisatie en het instrumentarium van NWO, en in het bijzonder van het domein ENW, hetgeen onder meer blijkt uit een relevant academisch en maatschappelijk netwerk en actieve betrokkenheid bij onderzoek in één of meerdere van de exacte en natuurwetenschappelijke disciplines. Bestuurlijke ervaring: Persoonlijke kwaliteiten om goed samen te werken in een bestuur. Bestuurlijke ervaring in een academische context en een breed academisch en maatschappelijk netwerk zijn een pré. Brede blik: Over de grenzen van (de belangen van) de eigen discipline heen kijken en de meerwaarde van inter- en transdisciplinaire samenwerking zien. Strategisch inzicht : Voeling en ervaring met voor NWO belangrijke (beleids)terreinen als Erkennen en Waarderen; Diversiteit, Inclusie & Gelijkwaardigheid; thematische samenwerking, publiek-private samenwerking, internationale samenwerking, Open Access/Science, Kennisveiligheid, Wetenschappelijke integriteit. Het domein ENW wil een afspiegeling zijn van het ENW-werkveld en streeft naar een evenwichtige samenstelling van het domeinbestuur qua diversiteit, wetenschappelijke achtergrond en ervaring en spreidin...
