Ben jij een ervaren Backend Developer met een passie voor Node.js en krijg je energie van het bouwen van performante, schaalbare software? Dan is dit een mooie kans om mee te bouwen aan een groeiend technologieplatform in Gent.Je komt terecht in een hecht en ervaren team waar initiatief wordt gewaardeerd en je veel ruimte krijgt om mee te denken over technische keuzes. Geen logge structuren of eindeloze beslissingslijnen, maar een omgeving waar je ideeën snel kunt omzetten in concrete oplossingen.

Wat ga je doen? Als Backend Developer bouw je mee aan performante bedrijfsapplicaties die dagelijks door organisaties worden gebruikt. Je werkt aan nieuwe functionaliteiten, optimaliseert bestaande oplossingen en denkt actief mee over de verdere technische ontwikkeling van het platform.

Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

  • Ontwikkelen van schaalbare backend-oplossingen met Node.js en TypeScript.
  • Bouwen en onderhouden van REST API's met NestJS of Express.js.
  • Werken met PostgreSQL en NoSQL-databases.
  • Schrijven van kwalitatieve, testbare en onderhoudbare code.
  • Meewerken aan Docker, CI/CD en automatisatie.
  • Samenwerken met collega's rond testing, data-architectuur en technische verbeteringen.
  • Meedenken over nieuwe technologieën en oplossingen die het platform sterker maken.

  • Je hebt minstens 3 jaar ervaring met Node.js.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van TypeScript en backend development.
  • Je hebt ervaring met API's en databases, bij voorkeur PostgreSQL.
  • Je hebt interesse in testing, automatisatie en data-architectuur.
  • Je denkt analytisch en vertaalt technische uitdagingen naar praktische oplossingen.
  • Je werkt graag samen, maar neemt ook zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid.
  • Je bent leergierig en denkt graag mee over de verdere ontwikkeling van het platform.
