The posting

je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en de verdere ontwikkeling van Odoo en de bedrijfsspecifieke toepassingen. Je combineert technische ontwikkeling met rechtstreeks gebruikerscontact en vertaalt operationele behoeften naar praktische oplossingen. Er wordt verwacht dat jij intern eigenaarschap opneemt over de businessapplicaties en waar nodig samenwerkt met externe ontwikkelingspartners. De initiële technische focus ligt op Odoo, de bestaande interne applicaties en interfaces.

Verantwoordelijkheden

  • Odoo verder beheren en ontwikkelen vormt een centraal onderdeel van zijn werkdag.
  • Daarnaast bewaakt hij de samenhang tussen Odoo, interne toepassingen, integraties, data en rapportering.
  • Voor het interne platform (een .NET-toepassing voor het rapporteringsproces) neemt hij het functionele en technische beheer op zich, met ondersteuning van een externe partner voor gespecialiseerde .NET-ontwikkeling.
  • In rechtstreeks overleg met gebruikers analyseert hij hun behoeften en vertaalt deze naar duidelijke functionele en technische specificaties.
  • Bij elke vraag beoordeelt hij hoe een behoefte het best wordt opgelost: via de Odoo-standaard, configuratie, procesaanpassing, integratie of maatwerk.
  • Haalbare configuraties en ontwikkelingen in Odoo en Python voert hij zelfstandig uit.
  • Na de ontwikkelfase test hij de wijzigingen grondig en zorgt voor een gecontroleerde oplevering aan de gebruikers.
  • Bij incidenten en technische problemen voert hij analyses uit, lost deze waar mogelijk zelf op en schakelt gericht collega's of externe specialisten in.
  • Het nauwkeurig documenteren van toepassingen, technische keuzes en procedures garandeert een werkbare back-up en vlotte kennisoverdracht.
  • Tot slot helpt hij prioriteiten te bepalen op basis van bedrijfsimpact, risico, inspanning, onderhoudbaarheid en totale kosten

Profiel

  • Voldoende technische kennis en ervaring zijn aanwezig om zelfstandig verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen en oplossingen te kiezen die aansluiten bij de behoeften van de business.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring met Odoo en Python, opgedaan in ontwikkeling, technisch beheer of een vergelijkbare rol, is essentieel.
  • Daarnaast is de kandidaat vertrouwd met ERP-implementaties of andere bedrijfskritische businessapplicaties.
  • Kennis van .NET, Git en Docker vormt een stevige basis, aangevuld met ervaring in databanken, API-integraties en rapportering.
  • Vlotte communicatie met niet-technische gebruikers is vanzelfsprekend, net als een constructieve samenwerking met externe specialisten.
  • Tot slot spreekt de ideale kandidaat vloeiend Nederlands of Frans en kan zich begrijpelijk uitdrukken in de andere taal.

Mooi meegenomen

  • Ervaring met mobiele toepassingen of specifieke oplossingen voor terreinmedewerkers is een sterke troef.
  • Kennis van code reviews, testen, upgrades of samenwerkingen met externe ontwikkelingspartners vormt een duidelijke meerwaarde.
  • Een eerdere rol in een Belgische technische KMO, bouw-, engineering- of projectomgeving is mooi meegenomen.
