Als Omgevingsmanager ben jij de verbindende schakel tussen een technisch project en de omgeving waarin het wordt uitgevoerd. Je zorgt ervoor dat alle betrokken partijen weten wat er speelt, wat er van hen wordt verwacht en welke afspraken er zijn gemaakt. Vanaf de voorbereidingsfase ben je betrokken bij het project. Je brengt de verschillende belangen en aandachtspunten in kaart en onderhoudt contact met onder andere klanten, omwonenden, perceeleigenaren en betrokken instanties. Je zorgt ervoor dat deze belangen tijdig worden meegenomen in de plannen en vertaalt signalen vanuit de omgeving naar concrete acties binnen het project. Tijdens de uitvoering houd je nauw contact met de verschillende stakeholders. Je informeert betrokkenen over de voortgang, beantwoordt vragen en pakt eventuele knelpunten actief op. Wanneer belangen botsen of onverwachte situaties ontstaan, weet jij de juiste partijen bij elkaar te brengen en zoek je naar een passende oplossing. Daarbij werk je nauw samen met projectteams en technische collega's. Je zorgt ervoor dat zij weten wat er vanuit de omgeving speelt en dat technische keuzes goed worden afgestemd met de betrokken partijen. Met jouw communicatie en organisatietalent zorg je ervoor dat werkzaamheden zo soepel mogelijk kunnen worden uitgevoerd en projecten hun voortgang behouden. Je hebt daarmee een belangrijke rol binnen het gehele projectproces. Jij zorgt voor de verbinding tussen techniek, opdrachtgever en omgeving en draagt bij aan een goede samenwerking en een breed draagvlak voor de projecten.
