Oncologie verpleegkundige - 29-09-2026 - Sint Maarten - fulltime - hbo - intermediair Oncologieverpleegkundige Wil jij als oncologieverpleegkundige dagelijks écht iets betekenen voor patiënten in een internationale ziekenhuisomgeving? Voor onze opdrachtgever op Sint-Maarten zoeken wij een oncologieverpleegkundige voor 40 uur per week op basis van werving & selectie. Je kunt op korte termijn starten en bent minimaal zes maanden beschikbaar. Klinkt dit als jouw volgende stap? Dan komen wij graag met je in contact. Wat ga je doen? Als oncologieverpleegkundige begeleid je patiënten met kanker tijdens hun behandelingstraject. Je bereidt behandelingen voor en zorgt dat alles klaarstaat voor chemo-, immuno- en targeted therapieën. Daarbij bewaak je de voortgang van de zorg en signaleer je veranderingen in de situatie van de patiënt. Je hebt veel contact met patiënten en hun naasten. Met jouw warme en heldere communicatie geef je uitleg, beantwoord je vragen en bied je steun in vaak kwetsbare en emotionele momenten. Daarnaast overleg je met medisch specialisten over behandelplannen en draag je bij aan beleid en procedures op de afdeling. Waar ga je werken? Je gaat aan de slag op het Nederlandse deel van Sint Maarten, op een ziekenhuis met 96 bedden en ongeveer 220 medewerkers. Het ziekenhuis vervult een belangrijke rol in de regio en biedt ook zorg aan patiënten van omliggende eilanden. De afdeling oncologie en dagbehandeling is klein en overzichtelijk, met vijf bedden en één stoel. Je werkt samen met drie verpleegkundigen in een team waarin samenwerking centraal staat. De voertaal is Engels en de populatie is divers en multicultureel. Dat maakt je werk afwisselend en inhoudelijk interessant. Bovendien werk je op een plek waar je jouw expertise verder kunt verbreden in een internationale setting.
