Als mekanieker werfinstallaties zorg jij ervoor dat onze indrukwekkende installaties in topconditie het atelier in Dessel verlaten. Je voert onderhoud en herstellingen uit, past installaties aan voor specifieke werven en werkt actief mee aan technische verbeteringen. Dankzij jouw technische expertise in mechanica zorg je ervoor dat complexe ondergrondse bouwwerken veilig, efficiënt en zonder vertraging kunnen worden uitgevoerd.

Jouw werkplek

Jouw plaats van tewerkstelling is het atelier op onze hoofdsite in Dessel, waar een 60-tal techniekers dagelijks sleutelen aan onze industriële bouwmachines en hun toebehoren. Het atelier ligt op een bedrijventerrein en is goed bereikbaar via verschillende verbindingswegen. Tijdens de middagpauze of na het werk kan je even ontspannen in de omliggende natuur, bijvoorbeeld met een wandeling in het Prinsenpark.

Jouw team valt onder Smet-F&C, de funderingsspecialist van Smet Group. Smet-F&C werkt bouwputten uit en bedenkt funderingsoplossingen voor hoogspanningsmasten, windmolens, kaaimuren, metro- en tramverbindingen en meer. Kortom, Smet-F&C is expert in het stabiel funderen van complexe bouwwerken.

Als mekanieker zorg je er elke dag voor dat onze installaties volledig werfklaar worden gemaakt.

Je staat in voor het onderhoud van werfinstallaties zoals:

  • Cementpompen, mengers, snekken, ander rollend materiaal en boorbenodigdheden
  • Maar ook het vervangen van: kogellagers, dichtingen van cilinders, pompkleppen en klepzittingen, elektrische motoren, enz..
  • Je zal opgeleid worden om met onze materialen te werken en uiteindelijk draai je mee in een team van 4 personen die hier op de vestiging in Dessel werkzaam zijn.

Wie jij bent

  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B en eigen vervoer.
  • Je kan Nederlands spreken, lezen en schrijven.
  • Je hebt een relevante opleiding gevolgd of hebt door ervaring dezelfde technische kennis opgebouwd.
  • Je voelt je thuis in de wereld van de bouw en zijn machines.
  • Je bent leergierig. Je wil veel bijleren en durft uitdagingen aangaan.
  • Je functioneert goed in teamverband. Je werkt vaak met dezelfde collega’s aan projecten en bouwt een hechte band op die zich ook buiten de werf verderzet.
  • Je bent bereid overuren te maken indien nodig

En pluspunten zijn …

  • Je beschikt over een EHBO en VVA1 getuigschrift
  • Je hebt ervaring met lassen, branden en draaien
  • Je bent in het bezit van een geldig Vca-certificaat of bent bereid deze op korte tijd te behalen

Diploma is voor ons niet het belangrijkste, wél jouw ingesteldheid en motivatie om dingen te willen bijleren!
