Binnen DMI werken militaire en civiele collega's samen aan de technische inzetbaarheid van de vloot. Het grootste deel van het werk vindt plaats op de marinebasis in Den Helder, vaak samen met Nederlandse technische bedrijven. Soms ondersteun je schepen of marine-eenheden op andere locaties. Je werkt in een omgeving waar techniek, samenwerking en veiligheid centraal staan en waar jouw vakmanschap direct bijdraagt aan nationale en internationale missies. Als onderhoudsmonteur werk je aan installaties en systemen die essentieel zijn voor de operationele gereedheid van de Koninklijke Marine. Je lost storingen op, voert revisies uit en stelt technische installaties opnieuw in bedrijf, zowel op de kade als aan boord van schepen. Daarmee heb je directe invloed op de veiligheid van collega's en de inzetbaarheid van maritieme missies. Deze functie is cruciaal omdat goed werkende installaties het verschil maken tussen stilstand en operationele inzet. Als onderhoudsmonteur werk je aan werktuigbouwkundige, hydraulische, pneumatische en elektrotechnische installaties binnen de maritieme omgeving. Je voert onderhoud, modificaties en reparaties uit aan systemen op de marinebasis in Den Helder en soms op andere locaties in Nederland of daarbuiten. Je werkt zelfstandig aan storingen en ond...
