Wil jij met jouw technische expertise bijdragen aan een productieproces waarin metaalrecyclage en duurzaamheid centraal staan?

Voor een internationale producent van gerecycleerde metaallegeringen zoeken we een onderhoudstechnieker in regio Zulte. De organisatie telt ongeveer 150 metaalspecialisten verspreid over verschillende landen. Jaarlijks produceert het bedrijf meer dan 100.000 ton metaallegeringen voor circa 400 klanten wereldwijd.

Sinds 1988 verwerkt deze producent voornamelijk secundaire metaalgrondstoffen. Door voortdurend te investeren in recyclingtechnologieën krijgt metaalafval een nieuwe, hoogwaardige toepassing. Als onderhoudstechnieker speel je een belangrijke rol in de betrouwbaarheid, veiligheid en verdere verbetering van de productie-installaties.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als onderhoudstechnieker ondersteun je de onderhoudsafdeling bij complexe elektrische storingen en neem je tijdens kritieke interventies snelle en veilige beslissingen
  • Samen met de Maintenance Operations Assistant stel je onderhoudsschema’s en preventieve onderhoudsplannen op om stilstanden zoveel mogelijk te beperken
  • Daarnaast volg je de prestaties van installaties op via KPI’s en vertaal je jouw analyses naar concrete technische verbeteringen en onderhoudsprojecten
  • Verder coördineer je externe contractors en bewaak je de naleving van veiligheidsvoorschriften, kwaliteitsverwachtingen en afgesproken deadlines
  • Tot slot begeleid je teamleaders en techniekers in hun technische ontwikkeling, rapporteer je aan de Maintenance Manager en bied je indien nodig ondersteuning bij dringende weekendstoringen
  • Op het vlak van opleiding behaalde je een bachelor in elektromechanica, industriële automatisering, elektronica of een vergelijkbare technische richting of kan je terugkijken op relevante ervaring
  • Technisch beschik je over een sterke kennis van elektrische installaties en troubleshooting, waarbij ervaring met PLC-systemen een bijkomende troef vormt
  • Wat talenkennis betreft communiceer je vlot in het Frans en Engels om de geldende veiligheidsvoorschriften correct te begrijpen en toe te passen
