Als onderhoudstechnieker ben je verantwoordelijk voor zowel klein als groot onderhoud van wagens. Je voert je taken efficiënt en nauwkeurig uit. Je controleert, herstelt of vervangt onderdelen zoals remmen, banden, motor en lichten. Daarnaast stel je diagnoses en zorg je ervoor dat voertuigen klaar zijn voor de technische controle. Je houdt alle werkzaamheden correct bij op het werkorder en communiceert met de magazijnmedewerkers over de nodige wisselstukken en accessoires.

Een gemiddelde dag bestaat uit het uitvoeren van verschillende onderhoudsbeurten, het stellen van diagnoses bij defecten en het voorbereiden van voertuigen voor de technische controle. Je werkt in een ordelijke en professionele werkplaats waar kwaliteit centraal staat. Je hebt contact met andere techniekers en magazijnmedewerkers om je taken vlot uit te voeren.
