Weer Tijd om te lachen Ondernemer/ Bedrijfsleider fruitteelt De Braacken is al meer dan 35 jaar een moderne succesvolle fruitkwekerij (appels/peren) die nu bijna al haar geteelde producten afzet in haar eigen boerderijwinkel in Goirle. De huidige eigenaren zijn bezig met de overdracht van het bedrijf. De Braacken maakt deel uit van het landgoed Gorp en Roovert dat al vele decennia in het bezit is van de familie van Puijenbroek. Er is een grote wens dit succesvolle bedrijf voort te zetten en verder te ontwikkelen naar een duurzame fruitteelt, zoals regeneratieve of een biologische bedrijfsvoering. Het fruitteeltbedrijf bestaat uit zo'n 10 hectare (nu 3 hectare appels, 3 hectare peren, 2 hectare beschikbaar om in te planten en aanvullende uitbreidingsmogelijkheden). Het heeft uitstekend onderhouden bedrijfsgebouwen, meer dan 1000 zonnepanelen, koelcellen, vaste beregeningsinstallaties en er is een ruime goed onderhouden bedrijfswoning met bijgebouwen aanwezig. De fruitteler zal nauw gaan samenwerken met de boerderijwinkel. Voor deze winkel - met een omzet van ca. 2 miljoen euro op jaarbasis - zoekt het landgoed een tweede ondernemende bedrijfsleider. Er zijn ca. 17 medewerkers (9 FTE). De boerderijwinkel is recent (juni 2026) bekroond met de award van 'beste boerderij winkel in Noord-Brabant'. Het bedrijf ligt op een ideale locatie, in de nabijheid van een drukke doorgaande weg en direct grenzend aan de natuurpoort de Roovertsche Leij in Goirle. De Braacken opereert niet als eiland. Landgoed Gorp & Roovert telt vijf productie-eenheden met zelfstandige verantwoordelijkheden die samenwerken vanuit één gedeelde visie: zoveel mogelijk landgoedproductie regionaal afzetten in een korte keten.
