The posting

Als onthaalouder vang je baby’s en peuters op bij je thuis.

  • Je staat in voor de opvang van baby’s en peuters bij jou thuis;
  • Je stimuleert de ontwikkeling, je speelt in op de talenten en de interesses van de kinderen.
  • Je bent sociaal, kan zelfstandig werken en hebt talent voor organisatie;
  • Je werkt samen met de dienst Kinderopvang, die jou ondersteunt in administratie en bij pedagogische visie van de Kinderopvang
  • Je neemt deel aan vormingsmomenten en intervisies georganiseerd vanuit de dienst Kinderopvang.

Je komt terecht binnen departement Mens, directie Zorg om uiteindelijk aan de slag te gaan binnen de dienst Kinderopvang.

  • Je bent minstens 18 jaar;
  • Jij en je huisgenoten beschikken over een blanco uittreksel strafregister 596.2 (het vroegere model 2);
  • Je bent medisch geschikt;
  • Je staat open voor de begeleiding en ondersteuning door de dienst Kinderopvang;
  • Je hebt een zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands;
  • Je volgt een kennismakingstraject van 20 uur;
  • Als je geen geldig kwalificatiebewijs hebt, volg je de bijkomende module van 20 uur ‘Werken in de gezinsopvang’. Deze modules kan je volgen in bepaalde erkende centra voor volwassenonderwijs (CVO);

  • Je hebt een hart voor kinderen en stimuleert hen in de eerste stappen;
  • Je bent zorgzaam en geduldig;
  • Je kan goed organiseren;
  • Je gaat spontaan in dialoog met kinderen, ouders en de dienst Kinderopvang;
  • Je verwelkomt het kind op een gepaste manier;
  • Je speelt in op de behoeftes van het kind aan eten, slapen, verzorgen, troosten, …
  • Je bereidt maaltijden;
  • Je organiseert spelactiviteiten om de ontwikkeling van het kind te stimuleren, gebaseerd op de interesses van het kind;
  • Je biedt het kind ondersteuning bij het aanleren van dagelijkse handelingen;
  • Je handelt volgens het ritme van het kind;
  • Je observeert het kind en brengt hierover verslag aan de ouder: zowel over dagelijkse gebeurtenissen (eten, drinken, activiteiten, slapen, …) als over de ontwikkeling van het kind;
  • Je gaat om met een diversiteit aan kinderen, gezinnen, externen en collega’s en je werkt hierbij volgens sociale en ethische normen;
  • Je werkt samen met het gezin als partner in de opvoeding;
  • Je onderhoudt de ruimtes waar de kinderen verblijven;
  • Je staat open voor vorming, intervisie en samenwerking met de dienst Kinderopvang.
