Zoek jij een professionele uitdaging waarin kinderen centraal staan? Heb jij een groot hart voor baby’s, peuters en kleuters? Wil jij hen de eerste stapjes in de wereld helpen zetten? Spreekt thuiswerk je aan waardoor je werkstress, files of druktes op het openbaar vervoer vermijdt? Dan is gezinsopvang vast iets voor jou. Als onthaalouder in het werknemersstatuut kan je bij je thuis 5 kinderen gelijktijdig opvangen. Dit zijn voornamelijk kinderen tussen 0 en 3 jaar. Hiervoor krijg je elke maand een vast bruto loon en een variabele onkostenvergoeding per kind en per dag.

Belangrijkste jobinhoud:

  • Je verzorgt kinderen: gezond en gevarieerd eten klaarmaken en geven, verluieren, troost bieden,..
  • Je stimuleert de ontwikkeling van de kinderen volgens het pedagogisch raamwerk van Kind & Gezin: taalaanbod, gevarieerde spel- en activiteitenaanbod
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat elk kind zich tijdens de opvang goed voelt
  • Je observeert het gedrag en de evolutie van het kind
  • Je houdt actief, auditief en visueel toezicht, ook tijdens de slaapsituatie
  • Je wisselt regelmatig informatie uit met ouders, geeft hen inspraak en ondersteunt hen
  • Je denkt actief mee over een kindvriendelijke ruimte

Persoonlijk:

  • Je bent minimum 18 jaar
  • Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands
  • Je woont in regio Bornem, Puurs, Willebroek, Putte, Mechelen of een van de omliggende regio's
  • Je hebt ervaring met baby’s en peuters (privé of andere)
  • Je kan voor jezelf en je huisgenoten die ouder zijn dan 18 jaar, een uittreksel uit het strafregister (model 2) voorleggen
  • Jij en je huisgenoten beschikken over een medisch attest
  • Jouw gezin staat achter je keuze

Diploma:

  • Diploma of kwalificatiebewijs moet in orde zijn of in orde gebracht worden. Je kan de opleiding voltooien terwijl je werkt.

Opvanglocatie:

  • Dit kan bij je thuis zijn of op een andere locatie
  • De locatie moet voldoende ruim, veilig en kindervriendelijk zijn
  • De plaatsen waar de kinderen verblijven zijn rookvrij, proper, voldoende verlicht en verlucht
  • Je hebt een veilige tuin of een vlot bereikbare buitenspeelmogelijkheid

Vaardigheden:

  • Je kan inspelen op het ritme en de noden van kinderen
  • Je kan overleggen, omgaan met en luisteren naar ouders
  • Je kan goed plannen en organiseren
  • Je kan flexibel inspelen op onverwachte situaties
  • Je kan op een open manier communiceren met kinderen, ouders en de organisator
  • Je durft jezelf in vraag te stellen en wil bijleren
  • Je staat open voor begeleiding en ondersteuning van de organisator
  • Je kan op een respectvolle manier je grenzen aangeven
  • Je staat open voor een diversiteit aan kinderen en gezinnen
