The posting

Werk je graag met je handen en haal je voldoening uit verzorgd werk? Voor een gezond West-Vlaams familiebedrijf in de regio Kuurne zoeken we een ontvetter voor metalen machineonderdelen.

Je zorgt ervoor dat geschilderde onderdelen netjes gereinigd, correct gemarkeerd en zorgvuldig verpakt worden. Je werkt aan unieke machines en installaties op maat. Geen grote serieproductie dus. Elk project vraagt opnieuw jouw aandacht en nauwkeurigheid.

Belangrijk om vooraf te weten: voor het reinigen van de onderdelen werk je met thinner, een oplosmiddel voor verf. De werkgever voorziet hiervoor de nodige persoonlijke beschermingsmiddelen, waaronder geschikte handschoenen en een spuitmasker.

Wat ga je doen?

Nadat de onderdelen geschilderd zijn, zorg jij voor de verdere afwerking en voorbereiding. Je werkt zorgvuldig, zodat elk onderdeel correct geïdentificeerd en beschermd bij de volgende stap terechtkomt.

Jouw taken bestaan uit:

  • geschilderde machineonderdelen reinigen en ontvetten met thinner;
  • steeds de voorziene handschoenen en het spuitmasker dragen;
  • de onderdelen correct voorzien van een naamteken en kleurmarkeringen;
  • afgewerkte onderdelen netjes en veilig verpakken op paletten;
  • je werkuren correct registreren bij het juiste project;
  • de werkplaats ordelijk en proper houden;
  • andere eenvoudige randtaken uitvoeren wanneer dat nodig is.

Het gaat om fysiek en praktisch werk in een industriële productieomgeving. Orde, veiligheid en nauwkeurigheid zijn daarbij belangrijk.

Ervaring vormt een pluspunt, maar jouw werkhouding geeft de doorslag. We zoeken iemand die betrouwbaar is, instructies respecteert en ook bij herhalend werk nauwkeurig blijft.

  • Je werkt veilig en gebruikt de voorziene beschermingsmiddelen zoals afgesproken.
  • Je hebt er geen probleem mee om dagelijks met thinner te werken.
  • Je voelt je thuis in een productie- of metaalomgeving.
  • Je werkt graag samen met collega’s.
  • Je hebt voldoende kennis van het Nederlands (of Engels) om instructies en veiligheidsvoorschriften goed te begrijpen.
