Jouw rol Je komt aan bij kantoor, kijkt uit op de kade en loopt langs een gereviseerde hijsbalk en een nieuw gebouwd grijperframe waar jij aan hebt gewerkt. Terwijl Bonn en Mees met een van hun drijvende bokken een gereviseerde hydrohamer van Cape Holland ophaalt uit onze productiehal schuif je op kantoor aan bij een vraag van een klant van niveau. Van Oord, Boskalis of een andere grote industriële speler wil een nieuw hijsmiddel, frame of een stuk handling equipment ontwikkelen. Jij zet een concept neer, bepaalt de aandrijving en werkt alles uit tot een maakbare tekening. Later op de dag sta je in de hal naast de constructiebouwers. Één van jouw andere ontwerpen ligt hier als staal op de bokken en is klaar om opgebouwd te worden. Dit ga je doen Je werkt aan one-offs voor topklanten in offshore en industrie, met engineering en constructie onder één dak, direct aan zee. Geen seriewerk, maar apparaten en constructies die je zelf van idee tot eindproduct begeleidt. Je vertaalt klantvragen naar slimme, veilige en maakbare werktuigbouwkundige ontwerpen en tekenpakketten. Je beweegt continu tussen concept, berekening, model, klant en werkplaats en pleegt overleg met je collega's in de werkplaats hoe het beter of slimmer kan. Je gaat je vooral bezighouden met: - ontwerpen van hijs- en hefmiddelen, grippers, frames en apparaten voor gebruik op schepen, in de offshore of in de haven of industrie - werkvoorbereiding door het uitwerken van ontwerpen in 3D-modellen naar duidelijke werkplaats- en detailtekeningen - berekeningen van de ontwerpen vastleggen in rapportages voor cer...
