¿ SELECCIONAR Y MONTAR LAS HERRAMIENTAS DE CORTE, ÚTILES DE SUJECIÓN Y ACCESORIOS ADECUADOS SEGÚN LA PIEZA A MECANIZAR. ¿ CALCULAR Y AJUSTAR PARÁMETROS DE MECANIZADO (VELOCIDAD DE CORTE, AVANCE, PROFUNDIDAD DE PASADA) EN FUNCIÓN DEL MATERIAL Y LA HERRAMIENTA. ¿ REALIZAR OPERACIONES DE TORNEADO: CILINDRADO, REFRENTADO, ROSCADO, RANURADO, TALADRADO, ESCARIADO Y MOLETEADO, ENTRE OTRAS. ¿ VERIFICAR LAS MEDIDAS DE LAS PIEZAS DURANTE Y DESPUÉS DEL MECANIZADO UTILIZANDO INSTRUMENTOS DE METROLOGÍA (CALIBRE, MICRÓMETRO, GALGAS, RELOJ COMPARADOR). ¿ DETECTAR Y CORREGIR DESVIACIONES RESPECTO A LAS ESPECIFICACIONES, AJUSTANDO EL PROCESO CUANDO SEA NECESARIO. ¿ REALIZAR EL MANTENIMIENTO DE PRIMER NIVEL DEL TORNO (LIMPIEZA, ENGRASE, COMPROBACIÓN DE NIVELES) Y COMUNICAR AVERÍAS O DESGASTES DE HERRAMIENTAS. ¿ AFILAR O SUSTITUIR HERRAMIENTAS DE CORTE CUANDO SEA NECESARIO. ¿ CONTROLAR EL CONSUMO DE MATERIAL Y MINIMIZAR MERMAS O DESPERDICIOS. ¿ CUMPLIR Y APLICAR LAS NORMAS DE PREVENCIÓN DE RIESGOS LABORALES (USO DE EPIS, RESGUARDOS DE MÁQUINA, PROCEDIMIENTOS DE SEGURIDAD). ¿ REGISTRAR LA PRODUCCIÓN REALIZADA, INCIDENCIAS Y TIEMPOS DE FABRICACIÓN SEGÚN LOS PROCEDIMIENTOS INTERNOS. ¿ COLABORAR CON OTROS DEPARTAMENTOS (CALIDAD, MANTENIMIENTO, PRODUCCIÓN) PARA LA MEJORA CONTINUA DEL PROCESO.
