Wat heb jij nodig in een nieuwe baan? Kiezen voor de OK van het Haga, betekent werken op een grote en dynamische OK waar je met alle - ja, écht alle - specialismen te maken krijgt en jij als operatieassistent alle ruimte krijgt voor jouw persoonlijke ontwikkeling. Assisteren, instrumenteren en omlopen: we hoeven jou natuurlijk niet uit te leggen wat je als operatieassistent doet. Vanaf de voorbereiding, het gebruiksklaar maken van de operatiekamer en de procedures die uitgevoerd worden. Jij kent de werkwijze en denkt twee stappen vooruit.

Jij zorgt voor: Assistentie op topniveau. Je werkt op een grote, dynamische OK, want je krijgt met alle soorten specialismen te maken. Van hartchirurgie tot neurologie en van KNO-ingrepen tot gynaecologie. Ook de operaties van het Juliana Kinderziekenhuis (JKZ) vinden bij ons op de OK plaats.

Optimale samenwerking. De motor achter de OK is het hele operatieteam. Het team is heel veelzijdig en ieder brengt zijn eigen talent en persoonlijkheid mee. Op de operatiekamer hangt een enorm laagdrempelige sfeer tussen de chirurgen en het OK-personeel; je voelt geen hiërarchie, waardoor je makkelijk kunt samenwerken. Ondanks de grootte van de groep werken we allemaal hecht met elkaar samen. Ook de band met andere teams wordt gestimuleerd: wij sluiten vanuit de OK aan bij de trauma-simulatietrainingen van de SEH om hierbij de communicatie te versterken.

Actuele kennis van de ontwikkelingen binnen jouw vakgebied. Je krijgt een eigen congresbudget zodat je symposia kunt bezoeken en er worden veel klinische lessen gegeven. Ook komen er externe partijen langs om trainingen te geven en organiseren we trainingsavonden, die je ook kunt gebruiken voor het opbouwen van je accreditatiepunten. Een OK zo groot als de onze biedt daarnaast heel veel mogelijkheden voor doorgroei. Er bestaan veel functies die je, naast je werk als OK-assistent zou kunnen inkleden; coördinator, specialisme-oudste, leerlingbegeleider, praktijkbegeleider, etc.
