We leiden je op om je te specialiseren in hart- en longchirurgie. Dit ga je doen Als operatieassistent cardiothoracale chirurgie bij het St. Antonius Ziekenhuis werk je dagelijks mee aan complexe hart- en longoperaties, zoals bypassoperaties, hartklepchirurgie en longresecties. Vanaf je start kun je direct de opleiding cardiothoracale chirurgie (CTC) volgen bij de Amstel Academie. Daar leer je alles over instrumenteren en assisteren bij cardiothoracale ingrepen. Je past de theorie meteen toe in de dagelijkse OK-praktijk en wordt getraind om professioneel te reageren op onverwachte situaties tijdens deze ingrepen. Na succesvolle afronding van de CTC-opleiding ontvang je niet alleen je diploma, maar ook een structurele maandelijkse toeslag op je salaris als erkenning van je extra deskundigheid. Wil je daarna nóg meer verdieping in je vakgebied? Dan is er de mogelijkheid om de EVAH-opleiding (Endoscopic Vein & Artery Harvesting) te volgen. Daarmee kun je zelfstandig ondersteunen bij CABG-operaties waarbij vaten endoscopisch worden verwijderd (vasoviewen). ...
