Operational Buyer Are you interested in procurement and eager to develop your career in a dynamic offshore environment? As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for an Operational Buyer to join our Procurement team. Fulltime / Parttime · Scheveningen About the job As an Operational Buyer, you will be the go-to person for purchasing, helping to improve and streamline our procurement processes. You will work closely with your colleagues in the Purchasing team, as well as key internal stakeholders such as Technical, QHSE, Chartering, Operations, Crewing, and our vessels. You will stay in close contact with the fleet, support day-to-day issue resolution, and help solve operational purchasing challenges quickly and effectively to keep our offshore operations running smoothly. Key responsibilities - Support the procurement and sourcing of operational goods, consumables and vessel-related supplies to ensure timely and high-quality support for offshore operations. - Coordinate purchasing activities with technical and operational departments to support fleet maintenance and project requirements. - Manage purchase orders, follow up on deliveries and maintain regular communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders. - Maintain accurate purchasing administration and reporting within company systems. - Work closely with Category Managers to support the operational execution of category strategies, supplier agreements and procurement improvement initiatives. - Support the operational management of supplier contracts by monitoring contract compliance, expiry dates, agreed pricing and service commitments. - Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality, safety and delivery reliability. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing workflows, processes and best practices together with Procurement colleagues. - Participate in team meetings and actively share ideas to support depa...
