Een productieomgeving beter organiseren zonder de voeling met de werkvloer te verliezen? Als Operational Manager neem je verantwoordelijkheid over de dagelijkse operationele werking van een West Vlaamse productie KMO.

Je combineert planning, kwaliteit, procesverbetering en het aansturen van medewerkers in één brede rol.

Wat ga je doen?

Je krijgt ruimte om structuur te brengen en verbeteringen daadwerkelijk uit te voeren. Je werkt rechtstreeks samen met de zaakvoerder en bent regelmatig aanwezig op de productievloer.

• Je maakt de productieplanning op, volgt ze dagelijks op en stuurt bij waar nodig

• Je zorgt voor een duidelijke taakverdeling binnen het team

• Je begeleidt medewerkers en zorgt voor heldere communicatie

• Je bouwt een praktisch kwaliteitssysteem op en helpt dit implementeren

• Je zorgt ervoor dat afwijkingen tijdig worden opgemerkt en opgevolgd

• Je onderzoekt waar fouten, stilstanden en verspilling ontstaan

• Je zoekt naar eenvoudigere en efficiëntere werkmethodes

• Je zet verbeteringen om in concrete afspraken op de werkvloer

• Je luistert naar medewerkers en gebruikt hun praktische kennis om processen beter te organiseren

• Je neemt beslissingen wanneer dat nodig is en volgt gemaakte afspraken verder op

Dit is geen functie waarbij je alleen analyses en rapporten maakt. Je moet begrijpen wat er op de vloer gebeurt, mensen meekrijgen en tegelijk voldoende structuur brengen om de productie stap voor stap beter te organiseren.

• Je bent graag aanwezig op de werkvloer

• Je hoeft nog niet ieder onderdeel van de functie volledig te beheersen

Ervaring binnen operations, productie of leidinggeven is relevant, maar wordt bewust niet als absolute voorwaarde naar voren geschoven. Potentieel, inzicht en de capaciteit om verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen wegen hier sterk door.
